An MDS Expert Will Respond

Expert Guidelines for MDS Education

Welcome to the Ask the Expert forum, moderated by the MDS Education team. To ensure a positive and informative experience for all members, please adhere to the following guidelines. Frequent or excessive violations can lead to account suspension and membership cancellation.

  1. Stay HIPAA Compliant: Do not share any private or patient data.
  2. Maintain a Friendly Atmosphere: Be courteous and respectful to all members.
  3. Respect Different Opinions: Appreciate that others may have different perspectives and opinions.
  4. Provide Credible Information: When sharing information, always cite your sources.
We reserve the right to remove or not respond to any questions to ensure the material posted is accurate and not harmful. Therefore, we may remove, edit, or choose not to publish any question that:
  • Is unrelated to MDS (Minimum Data Set) topics.
  • Contains disrespectful or derogatory remarks about any individual or organization.
  • Includes advice or content deemed damaging, unhelpful, or distressing to others.
  • Contains swearing or offensive language.
  • Is nonsensical and/or irrelevant.
  • Promotes personal beliefs in a disrespectful manner towards others' choices.
  • Is racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit or suggestive, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
